Typecraft word-bank attribution and redistribution notices

1) Frequency-ranked English core

Typecraft uses the ranked English data as the high-frequency core of its English practice banks, then applies local filtering and selection logic. Modifications include normalization, de-duplication, removal of unsuitable/noisy tokens, and combination with the dictionary source below.

2) Expanded English dictionary reservoir
Derived from United States English dictionary data generated from SCOWL / the English Speller Database family of word lists. The build used lowercase ASCII entries and excludes affix metadata, capitalized proper names, obvious dialogue/noise tokens, and explicit/profane terms.

The local build source was the Debian hunspell-en-us package (1:2020.12.07-4), whose SCOWL notice includes the following permission:

This Typecraft file records the attribution for the subset redistributed here.

3) Programming vocabulary
The Programming bank combines original Typecraft terminology with identifiers and terminology derived from public programming-language/runtime metadata, including Python language/standard-library names and TypeScript standard-library declaration identifiers.

4) Application code
This notice applies to the word-bank data sources described above. It does not relicense the Typecraft website application code or the separately licensed bundled fonts.
